Most fans remember when Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian were in a relationship, even though it’s been nearly a decade since they went their separate ways. But the lore involving his ex and his sisters goes back way farther than that.
At one point, she and Kim Kardashian were good friends… and then, Chyna’s then boyfriend (and father of her son, King) ended up dating Kim’s little sister, and the whole situation imploded. For years, Blac Chyna has been seen as the villain in all of this, but now that the controversy has resurfaced, people are realizing just how messed up it was that she got the blame.
Blac Chyna’s ex, Tyga, dated Kylie Jenner for about two years.
Tyga was in the Kardashian family’s orbit because of Blac Chyna, who was close with Kim years ago. As Buzzfeed pointed out, he met Kylie at age 14 (he was 22 at the time), and they started dating around the time she was 17 and he was 25, so before she was legally an adult.
This was obviously a big deal, but it didn’t keep them from having a full-fledged public relationship — one that Chyna said began while she and Tyga were still engaged.
A 2023 podcast clip where Blac Chyna spoke out about the situation is going viral all over again.
Blac Chyna was on an episode of former Bachelorette star Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, in 2023, and three years later, what she said about the “betrayal” she went through at the hands of the Kardashians has resurfaced.
“It’s like, nobody’s seen the betrayal that was going on behind my back of me talking to somebody — Kim — and then her little sister, who she has no control over, started talking to my fiancé and then I get attacked,” she said on the podcast. “And it’s like, how does that work? But it was kind of crazy.”
This time, people are actually defending Chyna.

In response to a post on X with the clip from the podcast that’s making the rounds online, people are sharing how they really feel about the situation now that they’ve heard Chyna’s side of the story.
“From Chyna’s perspective, the double standard is what still stings. She felt publicly blamed while the people involved in the situation with her ex were largely spared the same scrutiny. And then Rob entering the picture made the whole family dynamic even messier,” one person wrote.
Another posted, “I remember when Kylie and Tyga first started dating, I thought that was weird because he was a grown-ass man and she was just a few years older than me yet underage.”
The whole situation is really shady, and ultimately, it seems like a positive that Tyga and Kylie’s relationship didn’t end up lasting. But Chyna really did deserve better…
