Let’s talk about grandparents for a second, shall we? They can be really incredible assets to our parenting journeys. They love our children like their own and will often do everything they can to help us when needed. That is, of course, until we start taking advantage of their love and generosity. That's when things can start getting sticky.
TikToker Jessirel Rivera, aka @xo.jessyy on the social media platform, has reached the breaking point with her daughter and her apparent disregard for her three babies. The grandmother says the children are often unkempt, and their mother drinks all day and doesn't help with anything.
It has the makings of an incredibly tragic story. But before you start dialing child protective services, we promise you want to see this one through to the end.

Jessirel is over her daughter’s antics.
She has devoted an entire TikTok series to her daughter and her grandbabies and explains that at just 36, she already has three grandchildren from her daughter, who isn’t 18 yet. Her most viral video in the series has 3.7 million views, with Jessirel explaining that her daughter “doesn’t have a job, she drinks all day, eats all my food.”
She adds that her grandchildren are always dirty and sometimes they don’t even have clothes on when it is cold. It sounds like an extremely sad story.
This single mom is going to be on her own if she doesn’t straighten up.
Jessirel has had enough. “My job as a parent is done. I’m not here to be raising no grandchildren,” she declares.
She then mentions the kids’ fathers, who apparently also don’t help. She is clearly frustrated and explains she now has video evidence to show the judge.
The exasperated grandmother turns the camera, and we finally get a view of the “unfit” mother. It’s a toddler and some baby dolls!

The itty bitty baby momma was the real inspiration.
CafeMom reached out to Jessirel, who lives in Florida, and she tells us that the whole thing is a joke, which anyone who looks at her profile would know – it very clearly says satire. But we digress. Jessirel is a mom to two boys, 12 and 5, and a 2-year-old daughter. The idea came to her while they were playing one day.
“I was just sitting on my couch one day playing with my daughter and she kept bringing her baby dolls out and mistreating them and I was telling her that wasn’t nice. And a light bulb just went out, and I’m like let me document how my child treats her babies aka dolls. I just put a little twist with me being their grandmother, and it just took off from there,” she says.
But, of course, not everyone has their listening ears on.
Even though Jessirel clearly shows the real "mom" and "babies" in the end, many people don’t get that far and go straight to the comments.
There is a lot of chastising, such as this: “Your the parent a matter fact keep this to yall self why put in on social media talking about yall busniess loll this is the mother and daughter business not everyone in the world to get [clout].”
“This is clearly your fault. You raised your daughter.. remember that," someone else agreed.
People feel sorry for the babies, too.
“It’s not your responsibility to take care of her children. But it’s not the baby’s fault that you are angry. Think about it,” one person wrote.
She’s responded to some of the comments, explaining it's all a skit, but it still hasn’t sunk in for everyone.
“It’s very disappointing to see mothers and fathers judging my fake situation, but there are girls out there that truly have kids very very young. And you can be the best parent in the world, but children will still manage to do what they want, “ she tells CafeMom.

Those who have seen the entire TikTok can’t get enough.
One person wrote, “WOMAN!!! This playing while I was cutting potatoes, I was just listening like DANG and judging in my mind..I just sit down and actually watch and this is too funny! She cutetie and her babies lol.”
Jessirel gets a kick out of the people who understand the humor.
“The good comments are just those from people who finish watching the video and they felt like it was such a real story and were feeling bad for me. But then once realizing the truth, they just lose it laughing and tell me how I have mad their entire day,” she tells us.
She adds that the world needs more compassion and less judgment, now more than ever.
“We never know a person's situation and we should be the lasts one to judge anyone, especially their parenting,” she says.
Jessirel, we think you are absolutely hilarious. As grandmothers to some baby dolls who have clearly seen some stuff, we appreciate this hot take.
