Oil stains — they happen to the best of us. Thanks to the Internet, oil stain removal hacks are aplenty. But honestly, who can trust hacks anymore? Those mofos are EVERYWHERE.
So you don't have to guess, we tried four of the most popular oil stain removal hacks out there. And when you're done seeing which ones work on oil, you can check out our handiwork on red wine stains.
First up, a childhood favorite: chalk. Like all of these hacks, you have to wash the garment after you treat it (duh).
Good ol' Head & Shoulders. I'm not putting it in my hair but sure, I'll try it on this stain.
Again. I'm not putting this in my coffee but I'd be delighted to sprinkle it on this tainted shirt.
Side note: I've used Coca-Cola to clear out pipes.
