There’s much to celebrate in the Cuoco-Pelphrey household! Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey have officially entered parenthood, recently welcoming their baby girl.
The proud parents introduced their little one to the world.
Sharing the news to social media, Kaley and Tom shared a carousel of images introducing their new bundle of love born on March 30.
The new parents announced their daughter’s beautiful name along with the photos.
“Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!” Kaley wrote. “We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle ”
Kaley also thanked those who helped her through labor and delivery.
“Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days,” she wrote. “We are blessed beyond belief ”
And she also left a note to Tom, writing, “@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did.”
For his part, Tom also shared images and a shout-out to Kaley, starting with a quote.
The quote read, “You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love. — Rumi"
The proud dad then shared, “My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle,” including her name and a love note to Kaley.
“Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco,” he shared. “You are incredible.”
Their baby’s name means 'mighty in battle.'
The parents haven’t shared the meaning behind their daughter’s name, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, but Matilda means “mighty in battle,” and Carmine, a gender-neutral name, means “song.”
Kaley and Tom shared in the fall that they were going to become parents.
In October, Kaley shared on social media that she was going to be a mom and Tom would be a dad.
The parents-to-be made it clear they were over the moon and couldn’t wait to become parents, sharing several photos from the months leading up to their announcement.
“Kaley is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work,” a source previously told People. “They are preparing for the arrival which isn’t far off. She is in a good place.”
Now they’re a happy family of three. Congrats, and welcome to the world, Matilda!
