The gang's all here in the new trailer.
It looks like most of last season's characters will make a triumphant return to the show. Unfortunately, that won't include Mr. Big, whose unexpected death defined the show's first season, along with Stanford Blatch, because the actor who portrayed him, Willie Garson, died at the age of 57 while filming for the first season was still in progress.
We discovered what everyone's been up to since the finale.

It looks like Cynthia Nixon and Sara Ramirez's Miranda and Che are still going strong.
And life seems as complicated as ever for Kristin Davis' Charlotte, whose daughter announces that she's ready to lose her virginity.
But fans were more interested in learning exactly what Carrie's storyline would be this season now that she's moved out of her grieving stage and is ready to start dating in earnest again.
There are plenty of hints at Carrie's new dating life before we get to the big reveal at the end of the trailer.
Sex And The City fans likely got big throwback vibes from the way the trailer depicts Carrie's dive back into the dating pool. The show jokes that it's an exit from grief, but what it really looks like is Carrie getting ready to once again embark on the hunt for "the one."
Only this time she appears to be retreading old ground to find him.
Aidan is back and looks better than ever.
The moment had been teased through photos on SJP's Instagram page and in leaked snaps taken on set by eager paparazzi, but fans still got quite a kick out of seeing Aidan walk up to Carrie's old brownstone once more. (It's us. We're fans.)
That's especially true because of the significance of Carrie's monologue at the time, where she says, "And just like that, I realized some things are better left in the past … but maybe not everything."
Chills!

We'll finally get some answers this summer about what it all means.
The first episode drops on HBO Max in June. We can't wait to find out exactly how Carrie's rekindled romance with Aidan goes — not to mention whether Kim Cattrall's Samantha gets more than a passing mention this season — and what will come next for our favorite New Yorkers.
No matter what happens, we're just happy to see the gang all back on the screen and together again!
