Brielle Bird, known lovingly as Brie by her family and social media followers, was only 4 years old when she received a devastating neuroblastoma cancer diagnosis. Her mom, Kendra Bird, documented Brie’s cancer journey on social media under the handle @briestrongerthancancer. Brie fought stage four cancer for five years. She was cancer-free for a short time before the disease returned in 2024. Doctors placed her in hospice in July 2025, and she died on December 11. Her family hopes to keep her spirit alive with the help of her followers.
“You are the miracle! Your purpose on earth was fulfilled, and it was the most sacred privilege to escort you home. You brought people to Christ, you showed the world that God is good, and your light shined to all corners of the earth. We love you for eternity!” Kendra Bird shared on Instagram.
“We will look for you in all the details, especially the dragonfly’s. We will never stop sharing your story. Please come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open, and we’ll leave the playroom light on,” the heartbroken mother added.
Kendra Bird ended her post with a sweet message to her baby girl. “You did it Brielle, you did everything with grace! I can only imagine the incredible reunion, and I’m so jealous; but I know you ran straight to Jesus.,” she wrote. “Thank you for being an inspiration to so many.”

Candace Cameron Bure echoed the women’s thoughts with her own message. “We love you all. What an incredible family you are. Brielle left a legacy on earth and now she dances in heaven. Thank you for sharing her life with us,” she wrote. “You have our prayers.”
