Thanks to protective mom Melania Trump, not much is known about Barron Trump. Tons of people online were trying to figure out what he said to former president Joe Biden at his father’s inauguration, and when his older brother Eric Trump spoke up about it, Melania reportedly told him to be quiet. Now, Melania might have to have a word with Barron’s niece, Kai Trump, because she recently went on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and talked about Barron.
Barron is barely older than his niece.
Kai is the 18-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa. Since her uncle Barron is only 19 himself, they have an interesting relationship, which she touched on during her recent podcast appearance. Logan commented on how Barron seems pretty “quiet,” and without going into too much detail, Kai described her uncle as a “great” person.
“He’s a great guy,” Kai said on the podcast. “He doesn’t like the public eye so much, which I understand. But he’s a great guy.” Though Kai appears in the spotlight more than her uncle does, she made it clear she’s not interested in pursuing politics. “I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing,” she said.
What we know about Barron is quite limited.
Which is, presumably, why Logan brought him up several times while talking to Kai. But perhaps Melania had already had a chat with her before the podcast appearance, because she did not share as many details as Eric did. Previously, Eric spoke to Megyn Kelly about his younger brother and revealed that he had asked him what he said to Biden at their dad’s inauguration. “It was something so polite I almost wouldn’t even get it right,” Eric said. “‘Congratulations and best of luck to you,’ or something like that. Something very respectful.”
Logan asked Kai about this interaction too, and she seemed to confirm this narrative, even though she admitted that she didn’t know what he said. “To be honest with you, I actually have no clue [what he said to Biden],” Kai said on the podcast. “Actually, never asked him… To be honest with you, knowing Barron, I don’t think anything bad.” Fair enough.
When Eric spoke about the interaction, he emphasized that Barron is not “old enough to be a jerk and get away with it.” At this point in time, Barron is “a nice guy” and far “too courteous” to say anything rude to Biden.
Melania works hard to keep her son out of the public eye.
After Eric spoke to Megyn, Melania reportedly confronted him and told him to “shut his mouth.” Barron is also rarely seen in Melania’s upcoming documentary, and insiders say it’s not a coincidence. “Every single scene with Barron had to be approved by her,” a source told journalist Rob Shuter. This is because Barron “exists in public only on her terms,” the insider claimed.
