What to Know
It’s no coincidence that some of the things that adults and kids love the most tend to have a bit of an icky lens when you look close enough. According to one user on TikTok, Rosie, it isn’t about being too “woke” or looking too deeply into something that isn’t there. As she puts it in her video, “I think it actually is that deep.”
She explains how certain music artists are marketed in a way that appeals to children because the artists are almost childlike, and also to adults because they appeal to certain types of adults. Like the Epstein crowd. Yes, that Epstein crowd. It’s an epidemic at this point, and in some ways it’s staring us all in the face.
Music and entertainment has a theme these days involving children and what some see as grooming.

Rosie first points out some Meghan Trainor album art that makes it look like Meghan is a doll trapped inside a box. She’s small and wearing lingerie but, yes, let’s place her inside a clear plastic box to look like a children’s toy. Then, Rosie explains her perspective.
“I personally don’t listen to Meghan Trainor. This has nothing to do with Meghan Trainor. I’m not coming for Meghan Trainor in any way,” Rosie says. “What I’m saying is, I’m actually tired of this type of content. I’m tired of this type of, like, subconscious, grooming content of sexualizing children’s stuff, even toys.”
For Rosie, it is a matter of seeing everything else in the world today about predators and predator behavior that helped her see things a bit more clearly. She says that she can now see how other artists also do this and how people often “correlate sexual stuff with children stuff.”
Someone in the comments pointed out how Sabrina Carpenter is marketed this way, from her babydoll outfits to her album covers and general vibe. They even posted how Sabrina often makes references to Lolita, a controversial book about a man who falls in love with and sexually abuses his stepdaughter, as he romanticizes their relationship.
Another person commented on Rosie’s video and the fact that she mentions how some people may tell her it’s not that deep.
“It’s that deep,” they wrote. “And then when you get there it gets worse…”
“Nothing we see is an accident,” someone else commented, in reference to these references to little girls in adult-centric entertainment. When it comes to some music artists, it all seems very intentional.
