Charity Beallis and her estranged husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, finalized their divorce on December 2, 2025. The following day, the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office performed a welfare check at Charity Beallis’ home and found the 40-year-old and her 6-year-old twins, Eliana and Maverick, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Many believed Randall Beallis killed his ex-wife and their children, but prosecutors never formally charged him. Three months after their shocking deaths, the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office made an even more shocking announcement: Charity Beallis’ death has been ruled a suicide.
The sheriff’s office announced in a news release that the Arkansas State Crime Lab found Charity Beallis’ cause of death to be suicide and her children’s to be homicide. However, the sheriff’s office did not classify the case as a murder-suicide.
“The investigation is continuing as SCSO is still awaiting search warrant returns on electronic forensic searches on electronic devices,” the news release shared. “SCSO has not found any evidence thus far to indicate any other conclusion other than that determined by the autopsies conducted by ASCL. However, our Office attempts to always investigate our cases as conclusively as possible.”
Randall Beallis drove a Tesla, and according to company data, his car was not found near Charity Beallis’ home the night she and their children died, the release noted. Additionally, his phone did not ping any towers in the area that night either. Charity Beallis reportedly deactivated the alarm on her home, which only she could do, around 10 p.m. on December 2.
“Even though deactivated, the alarm company was able to provide information showing no doors or windows to the home were opened during that time,” the release explained. Deputies reportedly used a key to get into the home.
Even though the sheriff’s office shared evidence in the news released posted on Facebook, many people still don’t believe the story.
“Bc his car and phone weren’t there he must be innocent! Maybe investigators should watch some a&e….. Just a thought,” one person wrote in the comments section.
“This isnt his first rodeo,” another person agreed.
But some think Charity Beallis may have killed herself and her children to protect them.
“I believe IF she did take her and her babies lives it was to protect them from him. Im not saying I agree with it,” one comment read.
Every update to this story feels more tragic than the last. No matter what you believe happened, a mother and her two innocent babies died. They didn’t ask to be born, and they certainly didn’t ask to die. That’s the saddest part of this whole story. Adults have choices, and these poor kids were the ultimate victims.
