Death of Former ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Couple’s Baby Girl Ruled ‘Non-Accidental’

After denying any wrongdoing in the death of her baby girl, the tables seem to have turned for former reality star Leida Margaretha. Now that the initial assessment of Alisa’s July 2025 death has come back, it has been ruled “non-accidental,” leading to more fingers being pointed at Leida, who gained fame after appearing on 90 Day Fiancé with her estranged husband, Eric Rosenbrook.

At the time of Alisa’s death, what happened to her was stated to be “unknown.”

Eric announced Alisa, who was just one month old at the time, had died in a post on Facebook after spending days on life support.

“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend, tragedy has struck,” Eric wrote in his post on July 10. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM, after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.”

At the same time, Leida’s attorney, Taylor Hart, released a statement to Us Weekly.

“Today, the cause and manner of Alisa’s death are unknown. Leida is extremely distraught and is still seeking answers for herself. She loved her baby beyond measure and is struggling with the emotions of losing her child,” said the statement. “There are many allegations of wrongdoing being levied against Leida. This is no surprise as she has endured years of unfounded negative publicity and social media attention since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé in [2018]. Leida would have never harmed her child and she adamantly denies any allegations of wrongdoing.”

Now, her death has been ruled “non-accidental.”

Starcasm was the first to report that the Medical Examiner’s Office at the Adams County Health and Human Services Department has completed its initial assessment as the department continues to investigate Alisa’s death, and they have determined that it was not an accident.

Furthermore, they seemed to point the finger at Leida in the report, which claimed that they “found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”

The investigation is still open, and no formal charges have been filed against Leida so far.

Leida’s marriage to Eric came to an end around the time their daughter died.

Just days before Alisa’s death, Eric was arrested after Leida filed for a restraining order against him, accusing him of domestic violence after he came to an apartment where she was living without him, allegedly drunk, and slapped her in the face. According to Us Weekly, he was charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and later admitted that he did hit Leida during the incident that took place on July 4.
