The past week has been a whirlwind for the Duggar family — and not in a good way. After Joseph Duggar was arrested, his wife, Kendra, was also taken into custody. Though Joseph remains behind bars, Kendra was quickly let go on bail, and her mother-in-law, Michelle, was the one who picked her up. But not only was Michelle hounded by people demanding answers from her outside of the jail, but she also somehow showed up in a car with bullet holes in the side? The plot thickens…
Michelle showed up at the jail late Friday afternoon.
Kendra was arrested on Friday after she turned herself in at the Washington County Jail. Just two days after her husband, Joseph, had been arrested on charges involving an alleged molestation of a 9-year-old girl, it was Kendra’s turn to be behind bars after local police charged both her and Joseph with “four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree.”
It’s not clear what happened that led to these charges for Kendra — other than the fact that they are completely separate from the allegations that now have Joseph awaiting extradition to Florida.
It seemed that Kendra was only at the jail for a couple of hours before she was bailed out, and her mother-in-law Michelle was the one to come pick her up.
Michelle’s car invited a lot of speculation.
Photos of Kendra being picked up from jail are everywhere, including this shot where she is sitting in the passenger seat of Michelle’s car, wiping tears from her eyes… and the car appears to have bullet holes in the side of the door, near the window, as Radar Online pointed out.
Of course, these are the Duggars we’re talking about, and despite the fact that now three members of the family have been arrested, this isn’t exactly what people would expect to see from their cars. Given how unusual this is, of course, critics on social media have been debating what may have caused them.
The explanation for the bullet holes might be a bit more boring than some might think, though, since this person on X is making an excellent point: “All the Duggar’s buy their cars at those car auctions or runs one of those nasty car lots like Josh did so doesn’t surprise me they have a jacked up vehicle nobody wanted just saying.”
She got into a couple of heated exchanges while she was there — including ones that were caught on camera.

Meanwhile, a TikToker who goes by Shabba.com shared a video of different interactions that reporters were having with Michelle outside of the jail, and the situation gets surprisingly heated for a woman who refuses to raise her voice even when her kids have been acting out all day in front of reality TV cameras.
At one point, a photographer told Michelle he was just there as press, and she had some words for him, angrily saying, “You will go! You will not ask me anything! You will have to talk to someone else! Shame on you!”
Safe to say this week has Michelle a bit stressed out? Yeah, that’s probably an understatement.
