We all know the Duchess of Sussex has a dazzling smile — if there's one thing she knows how to do, it's look engaged with everyone and everything she sees. Of course, it's unrealistic to think that anyone could stay present all the time — even the royals can get bored (just ask Kate Middleton! She knows all about it!)
Meghan Markle is practically the queen of socializing (but not literally — Queen Elizabeth already holds that title.) She's got an air about her that always seems enthused, which makes it easy to forget the mentally draining day-to-day tasks she has to deal with.
There are a ton of strict rules she has to follow to begin with — the royal family is all about their appearance, after all. It's a big leap from Hollywood life for Meghan — having to be told when to eat, leave, stay, and sleep on a 24/7 basis. There's also the unreal amount of family drama between her and Kate, which is added, unnecessary stress. Lest we forget that the poor duchess is pregnant, so doing anything at the moment must be so exhausting for her. All this, and yet Meghan balances it all as perfectly as she can — her experience as an actress definitely takes her a long way when it comes to keeping face in public (it seems she didn't give up her celebrity self completely.)
At the end of the day, Meghan is a human like everyone else — becoming royalty doesn't automatically give someone loads of energy, and we're not going to fault her for falling victim to boredom (and neither should anyone else.)
