Amanda Bynes is pursuing one of her many interests. In recent years, the former actress has largely stayed out of the spotlight and has not appeared at public events. On several occasions, she has shared social media updates, some of which she deleted later. More recently, Amanda, who is now 38, has talked about pursuing fashion and getting her manicurist license, but for now, she’s taking a dive into the art world.

Amanda shared some snaps from the event on social media.
Leading up to the art show and clothing pop-up, Amanda promoted the event on social media. Tickets to the event were available in advance. Just before the event, she shared some photosĀ to her Instagram Stories of the artwork she planned on displaying.
After setting up, she and fashion designer Austin Babbitt posed for photos together. Amanda also shared several photos of her artwork, including a piece called Lavender Dreams.
At the event, Amanda interacted with fans and posed for photos with them.
One fan who attended the art show, podcaster Irvin Scott, shared photos on Instagram. “I had the honor of attending @amandaamandaamanda1986ās art show and getting to know her better this past weekend,” Irvin captioned the post. “Her story is truly inspiring. Excited to possibly share her journey on @thegrizzlypodcast sometime in the future.”
Fans who commented on Irvin’s post were supportive and excited to see that Amanda was pursuing her dreams. “This makes my heart happy seeing her doing what she loves,” one person commented.
Per Just Jared, singer and actress Noah Cyrus also supported Amanda by attending the event.

Amanda previously announced her fashion collab with Austin Babbitt.
In an October 2 post, Amanda announced that her “associateās of art degree majoring in product development at FIDM paid off.” Amanda graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019. On her Instagram Stories, Amanda shared that she collaborated with Austin to design a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. Both items featured Amanda’s original artwork.
Fans cheered Amanda on and asked if her artwork was for sale.
Reacting to Amanda’s Instagram post about the art show, many fans expressed their support and asked the former actress where they can buy her work. As of now, it’s not clear if Amanda is selling her artwork. “You look amazing!!! So proud of you Amanda! Canāt wait to make your next show,” one person commented on the post.
“Amanda you are stunning!” another person wrote. “I hope you do another show. Iām out of state so couldnāt attend. Love your creativity.”
Some fans also asked Amanda if she has plans to release more clothing featuring her artwork. “This is awesome!!! Keep creating!! Will you put more art on shirts? I missed the last drop/ collab!” one person said.
Initially, when Amanda announced her clothing collab, she teased that there was more to come.
In October, the actress-turned-artist spoke to People about her plans to host a pop-up event alongside Austin. Now that the event has passed, it’s unclear what Amanda plans to do next. However, in the past, she told her followers that she dreamed of starting her own clothing line. “Iām really looking forward to starting my clothing line, and Iām hoping that in the near future it will be out online,ā she said in February 2020.
