Caitlyn Jenner Accuses Disney of Firing Her From ‘The Kardashians’ for Not Being ‘Woke’

Caitlyn Jenner is still salty about not being included in the Kardashian family’s Hulu reality show The Kardashians. But instead of blaming the members of the family for not inviting her to join the cast — she’s taking her issues to the top. If you ask Caitlyn, it’s Hulu’s parent company, Disney, that is the reason she isn’t on the show, which follows her ex-wife, daughters, and former stepdaughters. According to her, Disney is simply too "woke" to let her appear on the show.

Caitlyn made the accusations after another conservative went after Disney's politics.

She made her beliefs known in a series of tweets over the weekend, not only taking a hit at the company but also making claims about its president, Bob Iger. Her statements come as a response to former US Ambassador Richard Grenell calling Disney "partisan."

"I wonder if that's why they fired me from my family's reality show when it switched over to Hulu (@Disney), from E!," Caitlyn replied. "I must not be woke enough. Too bad … I remember when Bob Iger was a young, hard working, valet, carrying my bags, for me right after I won the Olympics."

She seemed to give herself a lot of credit for the success of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'

"My About Bruce specials on E! were the highest rated in the franchise of KUWTK. Disney dropping me was purely political. I wasn’t woke enough for them, and Bob had no sense of loyalty after I gave them highest rated 2 HOUR 20/20 special on ABC, and massive boost to their ESPY ratings YoY when I spoke," she continued.

She did later go back and correct one of her statements, writing, "Not most watched in the KUWTK franchise. The highest in 3 years for the show, to nearly 5M viewers for just part 1 of About Bruce with massive growth in the key demo."

She also had something to say when 'The Kardashians' was first announced.

When The Kardashians was announced in 2022, Caitlyn tweeted her feelings on the show continuing without her.

"I was there when this started from day one. I watched it grow. And doing the show for almost 20 seasons was one of the highlights of my life. To be able to work with my family for all those years, connect with the fans, it was incredible. Happy that it continues for my family," she wrote.

As excited as she was, she was also disappointed about her exclusion.

"Of course at the same time it is unfortunate to not be given the opportunity to continue with the show. With that said, I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am for my family that it continues!" she claimed.

Caitlyn was a regular fixture on KUWTK until she started her own series about her transition, I Am Cait, in 2015. She did make guest appearances on the show after her departure, though.

Caitlyn has admitted that she's estranged from the Kardashians.

Caitlyn revealed in 2017 that she didn’t have a relationship with the Kardashian women or her ex-wife. In an interview with Piers Morgan, she admitted, "I've lost all relationship with them, yes, I don't talk to any of them anymore." She said it had been two years since she had spoken to Khloé and more than a year since she had spoken to Kris or Kim.

"They don't want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It's devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt," she said at the time.
