Hollywood might be known as the movie capital of the United States, but more and more, celebrities seem to be moving out. Actress Candace Cameron Bure recently revealed that she left Los Angeles for safety reasons. Los Angeles covers a lot of area, and celebs live in many parts. While many stars live in gated communities or in hard-to-access areas, those who crave a sense of normalcy might not, which can lead to security concerns. Also, Candace has moved away from the traditional movie and TV roles, which means that she is likely not even working in LA much anymore. Pair that with the fact that all of Candace’s kids are grown up and have lives of their own, and she and her husband are free to move around wherever they’d like.

She admitted she didn't feel 'safe' there.
"We didn't feel safe anymore," Candace told Fox News in a recent interview. "And that was the biggest reason that we moved."
She pointed out that contrary to what many believe about life in Los Angeles, "not everyone in Hollywood lives behind guard gates, and we weren't behind gates." According to Candace, her family had "quite a few problems over the years" with fans coming up to their door and taking pictures on their property.
She could no longer live with the risk.
"It's amazing what people feel they can do," she said. "And wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasn't. But it's quite unnerving when you're just trying to be a person and live life, and you don't know what's around the corner."
She's now an empty nester.
In addition to the security issue, Candace shared that her kids are also a big reason she left LA. "Family dynamics have changed," she explained. "The kids don’t live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life."
Candace and her husband Valeri Bure are parents to three kids in their 20s: daughter Natasha and sons Lev and Maksim.
Candace didn't stray too far from her hometown.
Candace had previously stayed mum about where she moved, but she told the outlet that she didn’t stray too far from her original home.
"There have been all kinds of stories as to where we moved, and none of them are right," she shared. "None of them. We didn't move to Nashville. We didn't move to Texas. We're actually still in California. We just moved up north. We're no longer in Los Angeles."

Not everyone believes her motivation for moving.
People who commented on the story don’t seem particularly impressed by her choice to leave the city of angels.
"They moved because they weren't celebrities and couldn't afford to live there," one person commented. "NO ONE believes fans were bothering her that much, LOL."
"They moved because no one can stand them!" another comment read.
"I doubt very seriously that they will be missed …" someone else added.
