What to Know
There are few people who go to bat for conservatives quite like those who support Erika Kirk now and those who still support Charlie Kirk posthumously. Those same critics are ready to tear Candace Owens a new one after she teased her documentary Bride of Charlie on X (formerly Twitter) and seemed to promise a reckoning where the former first lady and now CEO of Turning Point USA is concerned.
There has been bad blood between Erika and Candace for quite a while, and after Candace left the organization and left Charlie’s side as a close confidant, she began to spill the tea. Don’t get it twisted, because she is still a conservative mouthpiece. But Candace is also Erika’s number one hater by far, and her documentary, which she promises to be a “series,” proves that. Get your popcorn ready.

Candace Owens’ documentary is full of Erika Kirk conspiracies.
In the trailer that Candace posted on X, we see shots of Erika in her public outings immediately following Charlie’s September 2025 murder. There are clips that Erika posted on social media herself, including the controversial and conspiracy-ridden shot of her holding Charlie’s hands during his funeral. The documentary also shows critics talking about Erika and her actions as she gained more notoriety after Charlie’s death, and then there are the conspiracies about Erika herself.
It’s no secret that Candace has been coming for Erika for quite a while. Donald Trump might as well have these two participate in a cage match on the White House lawn at this point. OK, not really, but with this administration, anything is possible. After she posted the trailer to her Erika Kirk documentary series, people left comments condemning her decision.
Meghan McCain wrote, in her own X post, “Who in God’s name would put a woman whose husband was brutally assassinated in front of the entire world through this? I am so upset by this, I am just so deeply sorry Erika and her family have to be put through this.”
Someone else posted in reply to Candace’s X post, “This is the type of stuff girls in high school would do if they had massive budgets to slander the girl they don’t like. Candace, just go away.”
“You’ve officially reached a new low Candace,” another reply said. “I’ll pray for you.”
She doubled down on her plans to release the series.
Among the backlash Candace received for her post about the documentary were supporters ready for what they believe is the “truth” about Erika. Maybe the actual truth lies somewhere in the middle, but we can let these conservatives battle it out on X and beyond. Either way, though, a spokesperson for Candace released a statement to the New York Post, confirming the documentary series.
“We have no comment. The series will speak for itself, and you can watch the premiere episode” the spokesperson for Candace said. They later released a second statement to reiterate Candace’s plans. It said, “LOL. There isn’t any backlash outside of the Zionist bubble, which has no influence. People are excited to watch, and we are looking forward to presenting what we’ve discovered about Mrs. Kirk.”
