A-List Celebrities May Be Trying To Block Britney Spears’ Memoir To Avoid Being Exposed

It sounds like a lot of big-name celebrities are worried about what might come out about them once Britney Spears' much-anticipated memoir drops. According to an insider who spoke with the US Sun, Britney's publisher has received a lot of letters about the contents of the book, prompting it to push pause on publication.

The newspaper revealed that Simon & Schuster had received queries from concerned parties.

The source said the publisher had gotten some "strongly worded legal letters" from people who were worried about what Brit could've written about them.

"Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers," the insider continued. "Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written."

This could put Brit's book on hold indefinitely.

Those letters must've been intimidating, because the insider says that there is now "no movement" on Britney's memoir. In fact, some people are now questioning whether "it will eventually be able to come out."

We can't help but wonder what was said in those letters (and by whom) that was bad enough to spook the publisher.

There are plenty of people with a lot to lose if Britney decides to go nuclear.

Before her recent marriage to Sam Asghari, Britney was tied to a lot of famous men in Hollywood, including Justin Timberlake, Criss Angel, and Colin Farrell.

We're sure Britney has plenty of stories to spill about her love life as well as some of her famous friends, such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Christina Aguilera.

The book was originally slated to arrive this fall.

Publication is only a few months out, which means that the book has likely been written, edited, and may even have arrived at the printer. It seems unusual to pull the memoir at this point, especially because Simon & Shuster's legal team probably already vetted a lot of the content.

It's possible that the company have another reason for waiting to hold off on publishing the book, such as Britney's increasingly erratic behavior online.

Fans have grown worried for Britney.

The pop star has shared a series of concerning posts online, including some nude photos, leaving followers and friends alike worried about her mental state. If Britney's book is as "brutally honest" as the source claims, the publisher may be concerned about the possible toll all of this could have on Brit's well-being.

Hopefully everything is fine with the mother of two. Although we'd love to get our hands on her book, we don't want to do so at the expense of her safety or happiness.
