But when we think about celebrity pregnancies, we have to think on a larger scale. Not only are they filling in their loved ones, but they're breaking the news to the world in general — if they've decided to make their exciting news public, that is.
Over the years, plenty of celebrities have decided to go big when sharing baby news. Earlier this year, Keke Palmer let us know that she was expecting her first child by showing off her bump while hosting Saturday Night Live, and Rihanna chose her Super Bowl performance as the big reveal moment.
The red carpet at various events has become a popular choice, too — in fact, two celebrity moms just revealed they're expecting on the 2023 Met Gala red carpet in May.

Another Met Gala baby announcement — but let's be clear, these two did it a full year before Karlie and Serena did. At the 2022 event, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner showed up with a baby bump ahead of the birth of her second child with husband Joe Jonas.

In June 2022, Zawe Ashton announced that she and Tom Hiddleston were expecting their first child together when she arrived to the premiere of her movie Mr. Malcolm's List. Between starring in a film and expecting a baby, she had a lot to celebrate that night.
