17 of the Fall Season’s Must-See New TV Shows

Fall has arrived, and it's an exciting time for TV lovers. All of our favorite shows are coming back with new seasons, and there's also an entire slate of brand spankin' new TV series making their way to primetime TV. Fall is the main season for network TV, and each year a number of new shows are added to the lineups of pretty much every channel, from NBC and Fox to HBO and Showtime. And we are celebrating! Summer is always a fallow season for TV, and the summer of 2021 was particularly bleak — so we're super excited to check out all the fresh shows debuting this fall.

With popular series including Insecure and On My Block coming to a close soon, we're all going to have some gaps to fill in our TV queues, so we might as well get a head start on it by investing in some new programs. From highly anticipated dramas to interesting reboots of once-popular shows, there is a lot of promising content landing on TV this fall.

Although the health crisis is still presenting some challenges when it comes to TV production, many companies are over the hump now and have figured out how to safely get shows back on our TVs. So grab your coziest blanket and plenty of snacks and get ready to enjoy these must-see new TV shows.
