Empire star Gabourey Sidibe and her husband Brandon Frankel are officially parents of two.
Back in February, Sidibe announced that she and Frankel were expecting twins, nearly three years after saying “I do” in 2021. Sidibe partnered with the popular Instagram page The Shade Room to announce her little ones’ arrivals.
As TSR reports, Sidibe gave birth to a baby girl and a baby boy. “Brandon always wanted to name a son Cooper, so we can call him ‘Coop,’ and Maya was named shortly before our babymoon to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico,” Sidibe told TSR.

She then finally gave fans a sneak peak at the photos from their special day.
Sidibe says they “really do want to have a wedding someday but I just couldn’t wait to marry this amazing man.”
