Gwen Stefani is setting the record straight about her marriage to Blake Shelton. The singer opened up in a recent interview about the constant nagging rumors that she and her country music hubby are on the verge of divorce. Since they married in 2021, there have been plenty of reports of trouble in paradise, ranging from Gwen’s insistence that they get marriage counseling to Blake’s inability to parent her three boys. But just because there are rumors doesn’t mean there's trouble, and that’s what Gwen wants to remind people. Of course, only she and Blake know the truth about their marriage, and to her, that’s all that matters.

The rumors are getting into Gwen's head.
Speaking with Nylon for the 25th anniversary issue, Gwen opened up about her and Blake’s marriage. "The truth is I am in love with my best friend," she said. "And all this s— I'm thinking of in my brain, that's all it is — I'm overthinking."
She straight up called the rumors 'lies.'
"When you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship — I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something," she said, talking about the tabloids. "It's just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is."
Aging has made her about insecure about their relationship.
Gwen admitted that despite her good relationship with her husband, she still gets insecure sometimes. "I had been going through those times where you're questioning, 'Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'" she admitted. "In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what's happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid."
She and Blake recently released a song about their relationship.
The result of those insecurities became a duet featuring the couple, "Purple Irises," which they released in February.
"Everything fades, everything dies / Put me in a vase, but you can't / You can't stop time," Gwen sings. "It's not 1999 / But this face is still mine / The way you look at me / I swear my heart hits rewind."

Blake expressed excitement about more family time.
It seems that the couple has more time together than they had before since Blake is no longer a coach on the competition show The Voice. He left the show last year after 23 seasons, and one of the things he was most excited for was more family time.
"I want to finally have the opportunity to say yes to more stuff in my personal life, and not say, 'Let me check,' or just flat-out no," he told Entertainment Tonight.
