Could there be a baby on the way? Performer Halle Bailey is sparking pregnancy rumors after her boyfriend, rapper DDG, shared a picture on his Snapchat Story that obscures the Little Mermaid star's midsection. This is far from the first time that fans have speculated that Halle might be pregnant — the rumors have been following her around for a couple of months. Since the end of the summer, she has been spotted out in loose-fitting or flowy clothing, giving fans and followers more of a reason to assume that she’s trying to hide a growing bump.

Halle has rarely been photographed below the waist recently.
"SHE'S GONNA LOVE ME FOREVER FOR THIS!!" DDG wrote on a Snap featuring Halle sitting at a kitchen table. In the photo, Halle is wearing a loose-fitting blue T-shirt, and the height of the table obscures her stomach.
He also posted Snaps of himself and Halle out to dinner last week, and while he seemed to sip on a glass of red wine, it looked like all she had was a glass of water.
The rumors began over the summer.
In August, a video compilation of “evidence” that Halle could be pregnant began making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.
"Nah she’s definitely pregnant," one person commented. "Every female celebrity that doesn’t want the public to know about their pregnancy start wearing big clothes in the beginning so I believe she is."
Her appearance at the VMAs only added fuel to the fire.
Halle's appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in September added to the speculation. She was on hand with sister Chloe to introduce a performance at the award show, and she took the stage in a long, flowing orange gown. A source told Page Six at the time, "The orange dress flow was an indicator she was trying to hide."

Apparently, she went out of her way to obscure her stomach.
"Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to," an insider shared.
The source added, "She would keep her distance when someone got too close, and she gave out more handshakes than her [usual] enduring embraces."
The pregnancy speculation isn't doing her any favors with the people who are already critical of her.
Some fans are speculating that Halle's possible pregnancy could be standing in the way of her blossoming acting career. There have been conflicting reports as to why Disney removed her name from the Best Original Song Oscar nomination category on its official website.
"If being with that rapper has anything to do with it then oh well, and if she's pregnant that's a double oh well," one fan commented. "No one told her to become a baby mama in the middle of her star rising."
"Her poor choices will continue to affect her career," another added. "It’s unfortunate. Being a pick me will do it every time."
