A friend of Cameron Diaz is dishing on why the actress may be looking at retiring from acting all over again after getting to work on just one film since she pulled back from Hollywood in 2018. It sounds like pal Jamie Foxx may be behind the reasoning, and honestly, we can't say that we'd blame Cameron after what reportedly happened.

The pal says Jamie's antics on set may have soured Cameron's decision to return to filming.
Cameron decided to leave her Hollywood legacy behind after getting married in 2015. The Mask star realized that she'd rather spend time with her rocker husband Benji Madden and work on starting a family together instead of putting in long hours on location.
Jamie convinced her to get back in the game for his new movie 'Back in Action.'
According to the Daily Mail, Cameron came out of retirement to work on Jamie's new film, where he is pulling double duty as both a star and as an executive producer.
Unfortunately, it sounds like production hit a few bumps in the road causing Jamie to throw a fit on set, costing four people — an executive producer, two directors, and his driver — their jobs.
That was all Cameron needed to remember why she left in the first place.
The unnamed source said Cameron would likely be done with Hollywood for good after her film wrapped.
"She hates drama and confrontation," the person said. "This is why she retired from the business in the first place. She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone."

She also hates being away from her family.
It's not just the workplace drama, which the friend said is unlikely to hinder Cameron and Jamie's off-screen friendship. Her family is also a factor in her deciding to take a second retirement.
"These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix," they said of Cameron's little girl, before adding that the movie star "loves being a mom more than anything in the world."
That totally makes sense to us.
There's no intel on what Jamie was freaking out about.
Although the friend didn't dish on exactly what made Jamie so mad, it doesn't sound like it had anything to do with his long-time friend and costar.
Whatever Cameron does decide to do about her big return to Hollywood, we're sure she has a lot of support at home. We'll definitely miss her if she decides to leave filmmaking behind for good, but we can understand why she'd rather live a low-stress life with her family instead.
