Janelle Brown is moving on with her life after her split from Kody Brown. Janelle and Kody, announced their separation in 2022, but Janelle chose to remain in Flagstaff, Arizona — until now. Her Instagram reel showed vacant land.
Janelle’s new home is clearly a work in progress. In the caption, she explained that it “doesn’t look like much yet but it will.” Although the video might just look like vacant land, Janelle added that she likes “the wild feel that it has now.”
“We are planning for many acres to stay that way for the benefit of the wildlife,” she continued in the post.
She tagged Taeda Farms in the post.
Taeda Farms is a company that she founded with one of her kids, Madison Brush, and her son-in-law Caleb Brush. “The idea of owning a farm has always been a dream,” the company’s website reads. This dream didn’t always seem possible. However, “when shifts in our family dynamics unfolded, the idea of making this dream a reality emerged,” the family noted on the company’s website.
On the Taeda Farms Instagram page, the company has a “Flower Farm in the works.”

Janelle's officially living in North Carolina.
Per In Touch, Janelle purchased property close to where Maddie and Caleb live in Chocowinity, North Carolina, in March.
Commenting on Janelle’s post, many people congratulated her.
“I just love this for you Janelle!!!!!” one person wrote.
Another person commented: “Congratulations Janelle. I hope you find peace in North Carolina with your land and family.”
Janelle and Kody split up because Kody was not an 'engaged father' anymore.
Together, Janelle and Kody welcomed six children: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah, though they lost Garrison when he died by suicide earlier this year. Previously, Janelle revealed that Kody was no longer the father he once was to their children.
“A big part of my relationship with Kody has been the fact that he was such an engaged father. He was such a good dad. And now he doesn’t want to be that anymore, so I don’t even know who that guy is. Who is that guy?” she said on the show.
At first, she stayed in Arizona to be close to her kids.
In November 2023, prior to Garrison’s death, Janelle revealed that she stayed in Arizona to be close to three of her kids. “One of the reasons I like living in Flagstaff is that 3 of my 6 kids are here!” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I can randomly get a visit from Gabe or Garrison and Savanah is still at home with me.”
