‘Sister Wives’ Star Meri Brown Is ‘100 Percent’ Open To Love After Split From Kody

A lot has changed for Meri Brown. The Sister Wives star is no longer married to Kody Brown in any way. After the split, she moved from Arizona to Utah. During a recent interview with Extra, Meri, 53, opened up about how she’s navigating these major changes. “Things are really good,” Meri said during the interview. “I’m just doing all the things, just having fun and building businesses and taking adventures and my dog is a good road-tripper.”

She's focusing on her goals and ambitions.

Meri has been working on building her community, Worthy Up. The website describes it as “a community that celebrates individual growth and empowerment through inspiration, insight, and impact.”

Speaking to Extra, she described it as “a community of people who just want to remember their worth. I think that it’s super important to remember who we are and what we’re doing and that we’re worthy of whatever it is that we want or what we want to do.”

When it comes to her own self-worth journey, Meri said it “was definitely a journey and I’m still on that.”

When it comes to dating, she's definitely open to finding love again.

While Meri has been traveling and focusing on her business ventures, she is “100 percent” open to dating and finding love again. She described her ideal partner as someone who is “very confident,” “successful,” and “not shy about who he is and what he wants.”

“He’s gotta match my energy,” she added. “He can’t be intimidated or bothered by what I do or who I am because that’s not gonna work for me.”

Though she doesn’t care if her future partner shares her goals, she thinks it’s important he’s supportive of her goals. “We need to cheer each other on and support each other in what it is that we’re doing,” she explained.

She and Kody are still friendly with each other.

When it comes to her relationship with Kody, Meri said that they’re “friendly with each other” but they’re not friends. They’re “cordial” and “kind” with each other when they interact, but they don’t text each other to check in, she explained. “We’re not like texting each other and saying, ‘hey, how’s your day going?’ But when we see each other, it’s kind,” Meri told Extra

Kody cried when he helped Kody move away.

On a recent episode of Sister Wives, Kody cried as he mourned “the end of an era.” At one point, he joked that Meri was his “favorite ex-wife.” He also cried as he reminisced about their relationship. “We had something special and it feels like it just all went to s—, sort of,” he told Meri at the time.

Meri was confused by his emotional reaction.

From Meri’s perspective, she was willing to try to make their marriage work. However, Kody had not seemed interested in that. “I don’t know where this is coming from,” Meri said on the same episode of Sister Wives. “I do not understand it. He has made it clear that he did not want me in his life. So why this emotion?”
