As if things couldn’t get any worse for former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans, she has decided to take on her mother Barbara Evans in court yet again. Barbara currently has custody of Jenelle’s 14-year-old son Jace Evans after the teen ran away from Jenelle’s house for a third time. Jace claimed stepfather David Eason had assaulted him. This resulted in Jenelle losing custody of her teenage son, who was placed back with his grandmother.
According to new court documents, Jenelle is now attempting to have Barbara deemed unfit to care for Jace by claiming that she was unable to handle the mental health of her own children over the years.

Jenelle is still salty that Barbara currently has custody of Jace.
Jenelle has filed a restraining order against Barbara, according to court documents shared by The Ashley's Reality Roundup. In the documents, Jenelle makes the claim that Barb committed "bodily harm" by allowing Jace to take an antidepressant while he was in a facility earlier this month.
In that same court document, Jenelle claims that Barbara had no rights to make the decision to medicate Jace.
She went on to accuse Barb of medicating her own children in the past.
"Barbara Evans has a history of sending her own kids away to mental hospitals and putting them on some sort of medication," Jenelle wrote as a part of her statement. Barbara has two other kids, Ashleigh and Colin, with whom Jenelle has no relationship.
Jenelle went on to claim that Barb "still has one of her children on medication that is 35 years old," which, according to The Ashley, is her brother Colin, though whether or not that statement is true (or even legally possible) is still up for debate.
Jenelle believes Barbara is suffering from a mental illness herself.
This all would have been bad enough, but then Jenelle took it a step further with her accusations that Barbara was "expressing Munchausen Syndrome." Of course, Jenelle used the wrong term — she actually meant Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, a condition where a caregiver fabricates mental or physical symptoms in the person they're taking care of, typically to receive attention.

On social media, Jenelle made a dangerous comparison between Adderall and another drug.
In addition to accusing Barbara of having Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, Jenelle also used social media to compare the ADHD medication Adderall to methamphetamines. She shared a meme on her Instagram Stories alongside the definition of Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, not so subtly trying to shade Barb and the choices she’s made in taking care of Jace.
Barbara has already expressed concern over Jenelle's beliefs on medicating Jace.
In August, Barbara spoke with TMZ after Jace ran away from home, claiming that her daughter had taken the teen off his ADHD medication once she gained custody. According to Barbara, Jace had been taking the medication for seven years, as well as seeing a behavioral therapist. Due to their estrangement, Barbara couldn’t give additional details at the time.
