‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Reunites With Son Jace After CPS Drops Case Against Her

It looks like things are turning around for Jenelle Evans and her son Jace. Last summer, the 14-year-old ran away from his mother’s home three times for various reasons. After his last escape, he accused Jenelle's husband, David Eason, of assault, which led to the teen being taken from their home and being put in the care of child protective services, or CPS. David also was charged with child abuse at the time, but now that the CPS case against Jenelle and David has been dropped, Jace has been reunited with his mom.

Jenelle enjoyed time with all of her kids together.

This week, Jenelle posted a video on TikTok of Jace alongside younger siblings Kaiser and Ensley trying out different kinds of ramen noodles. During the video, Jace can be seen helping Ensley as she uses chopsticks, as well as grabbing a drink out of the fridge.

Jenelle gave a happy update to her followers about the CPS case.

Jenelle's latest video comes mere days after she announced on social media that the CPS case had been dropped.

"I have some good news and I’m kind of shaking right now from anxiety," she said in a TikTok video. "All allegations against me and my husband have been officially dropped."

At first, she wasn't sure if she'd share the news.

She went on to explain that "CPS took a voluntary dismissal," adding that she hadn’t originally planned to share the news publicly. "But right now, I need to control the narrative now that this case has been dropped," she shared.

She swears that someone directly involved in the case has been leaking information.

According to Jenelle, her reason for sharing that the case had been dropped came because "someone is already leaking information to the media." Although she doesn’t know for sure who was behind the leak, her guess is that it's either Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis, or her mother Barbara, who temporarily had custody of Jace after he was removed from Jenelle’s home.

There are still a few things that Jenelle hasn't shared about Jace's current situation.

"I’d appreciate it if everyone respects my son’s privacy so he can get his mental health in check," Jenelle said. "I’m focusing on Jace’s mental health and I want to focus solely on his mental health right now."

Despite the case being dropped and the mother and son reuniting, no one knows where Jace is living. But from Jenelle's latest message, it sounds like we'll have another update soon.
