It’s been a big week for the Duggar family after another one of the grown kids released a book speaking out against their strict, religious upbringing. First Jinger released Becoming Free Indeed, and now Jill has done the same with her book titled Counting the Cost.
As we saw with Jinger’s book release, not everyone is supportive of the decision to share their side of the story.
Jill released her book on September 12, and since then she’s been doing a lot of press, including an in-person event in Arkansas.
On Instagram, Jill shared the details for her upcoming in-person event, which sparked a comment from one of her fans.
Fans worry that Jill doesn’t have any supportive siblings.
According to The U.S. Sun, a commenter shared on Jill’s photo that it doesn’t seem like her siblings are cheering her on.
“Unless I've missed it, I've seen no public support from Jinger or any of your siblings,” the comment read. And the likely reason the commenter is specifically looking to Jinger for support is because she also recently released a book about her childhood that ruffled some feathers.
But Jill does have one sibling in her corner.
Jill doesn’t typically engage too much in the comment section of her social media, but she did take a moment to answer this one, sharing that Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, have been supportive.
"@JingerVuolo and @Jeremy_Vuolo have been very supportive," Jill replied, according to The U.S. Sun, adding a red heart emoji.
There hasn’t been much talk from the other siblings, but Joy-Anna has addressed the book recently.

Joy-Anna posted a video to her family YouTube channel and the topic of Jill’s book came out with a fan question. In the video, Joy and her husband, Austin Forsyth, answered several Q&A questions from fans, and someone asked about Jill’s book.
Reading the question, “Are you going to read Jill’s book?” Joy-Anna and Austin admitted they do plan to read it.
'I will. I read Jinger's book, I’ll read Jill's book,' Joy-Anna replied.
“If your family member wrote a book about your family would you read it?” Austin added.
Joy-Anna clarified that she hasn’t read it yet, but that’s totally her plan.
“I'm gonna read it. I want to know what it's about. I want to know what she has to say.”
It will be interesting to hear from Jill's other siblings and if any of them (or her parents) read the book.
