Kate Middleton is going to be an aunt again! James Middleton, her younger brother, and his wife Alizee Thevenet are expecting their first child. He shared the good news via an adorable Instagram post showing off Alizee's baby bump for the first time.

The couple couldn't be happier.
"It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella however we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family," James wrote.
Ella was James’ therapy dog who died earlier this year, and considering what an animal lover he's always been, there's no doubt that this baby news has come at just the right time.
James and Alizee met thanks to his late dog, Ella.
Back in 2018, Ella walked up to Alizee at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea, London, leading her to bend down to pet the beautiful black spaniel.
"Rather embarrassed, I went over to apologize and bring Ella back," James explained in a 2021 interview with The Telegraph. "Little did I know, but I had just met my future wife, all thanks to Ella. If I hadn’t trusted Ella, I wouldn’t have brought her to the South Kensington Club and she wouldn’t have been able to say hi to the woman who became my fiancée."
Ella was more than just a dog to him.
James was diagnosed with a major depressive disorder, and Ella was his therapy dog and faithful companion.
"Ella had a very short illness, she slipped away in my arms at home and is now buried in the garden alongside Tilly," he wrote when she died.

James is already the ultimate dog dad.
The couple’s baby will be in good hands with all of the dogs they own! In addition to their golden retriever, Mabel, they also have one of her puppies, who they named Ivy, along with several other spaniels.
James runs a UK-based company called Ella&Co that makes human-grade dog food.
It’s clear that dogs are extremely important to him, and if he gives so much love and attention to his pets, we can only imagine how well cared for this child will be!
He seems ready to start this chapter of his life.
In addition to being the last Middleton kid to get married, James is also the last one to have children.
He is uncle to Kate and Prince William’s three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis, as well as sister Pippa’s three children, so he's had plenty of practice hanging out with children of all ages already.
