Kate is no stranger to recycling outfits.
Royal watchers may remember seeing the pink Jenny Packham gown earlier this year, when Kate attended the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif in Jordan. And now, she's pulled it back out for another fancy occasion: a royal reception held at Buckingham Palace.
Kate's tiara was said to be Princess Diana's favorite.
The Lover’s Knot tiara is a piece that Kate returns to again and again, just like her late mother-in-law did. It was one of Diana’s favorites, which makes the fact that Kate wears it so often even more special.

It is a beautiful piece that has served Kate well.

The tiara features a delicate combination of diamonds and teardrop pearls. Diana borrowed it from the Queen for several special occasions, and there are many photos of her donning the piece. It seems that it’s become almost a go-to tiara for Kate, who wore it four times between 2015 and 2018. Most recently, she wore it last year for King Charles’ first state banquet after taking the throne.
Kate's earrings have a lot of significance as well.

Kate paired the tiara with a small diamond brooch and the Greville chandelier earrings. The earrings were a wedding gift for the Queen from her mother in 1949, and Kate has been known to wear pieces from Queen Elizabeth's collection, especially on special occasions like this.
