Kevin Costner’s ex-wife isn’t letting their divorce get in the way of her having a good summer. Christine Baumgartner was spotted in Hawaii with her and Costner’s three kids, soaking up the sun and having a good time.
This all comes only a week after Christine was awarded a large child support settlement after months of contention between the two.

She was all sunshine and smiles on the sand.
Christine was photographed walking along the beach at the Four Seasons Resort in a floral printed bikini. She stopped to snap some selfies with her 13-year-old daughter Grace, whom she shares with Costner. The couple also has two sons, who were apparently on the trip but not photographed.
During her time on the beach, Christine was all smiles. And who wouldn’t be after getting what could be considered a major win in her child support case?
A tentative ruling was made regarding child support.

Last week, TMZ reported that a judge tentatively ruled that Kevin has to pay Christine almost $130,000 per month in child support.
That may seem like an astronomical amount of money, and it absolutely is. But, it’s only about half of what Christine initially asked for.
The actor only wanted to pay around $52,000 in addition to paying for all of the teens’ expenses, but his ex said that amount was “completely inappropriate.”
Christine is feeling 'relieved.'

A source told People that Christine is feeling “relieved” after the ruling.
She “only wants to take care of and support her children,” the insider shared. “The divorce is not their fault. She doesn’t want them to suffer, or experience negative life changes because of it.”
Additionally, the source said, “It’s all stressful for Christine, but she is trying to stay positive.” Hence the Hawaiian vacation.

There is a possibility that the amount will change.
Although the ruling is tentative, it’s rare that the amount will change once the hearing happens. Of course, there’s always a chance it could once each side presents evidence.
Christine and Kevin are expected to split the kids’ health insurance, extracurricular activities, and private school tuition 50/50.
Time is running out for Christine to move.

Her Hawaiian vacation comes just as she’s running against the time clock. According to the terms of the estranged couple’s prenup, Christine must leave the home she shared with Costner by the end of July.
They have been fighting about what she is allowed to take from the home, with Christine making a promise not to “ransack” the house when she moves out.
