Kourtney Kardashian’s Son Mason Made a Rare Appearance With Dad Scott Disick

It’s been a few weeks since Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to baby No. 4, and while we eagerly await a view of the newest little one, her oldest son, Mason Disick, made a rare appearance out in public. Mason was spotted having dinner with dad Scott Disick in Malibu, California, last week, and he looks so grown up! It feels like ages since we last got to see him out and about, and he’s grown so much, we almost didn’t recognize him. He’s definitely starting to look like a proper teenager, and not like the little boy we once saw when he would pop up on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Mason and Scott's outing seemed like a casual family dinner.

Mason was seen having dinner at LA hotspot Nobu. Younger siblings Penelope and Reign were also there. Mason, who will celebrate turning 14 next month, kept it casual as he joined his fam, wearing a black T-shirt and baggy jeans.

Mason famously avoids the limelight.

Unlike most of his famous family, the teen chooses to keep out of the spotlight as much as he can, even after spending much of his childhood as a regular fixture on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kourtney talked about his disinterest with a celebrity lifestyle in October 2022 on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

“I see comments all the time that I’m never with my kids,” she shared. “And I just don’t love to post my kids on social media. They don’t love it, sometimes they do.”

Mason has made his boundaries clear to his mom, and Kourtney respects them.

“He does not like it. He doesn’t want any part of it. He’s not on social media. He doesn’t love it, and I want my kids to be kids. I crave normalcy as much as we can have it,” Kourtney continued. She has honored his wishes by posting minimally about her eldest child on social media.

Just because we don't see Mason doesn't mean he's not around.

Months before talking about how little Mason likes being seen on social media, Kourtney proved her own point, sharing a picture of just his feet in her Instagram Stories. They were in Cleveland to watch a concert with her husband Travis Barker’s band, Blink-182, and we only knew it was Mason in the photo because Kourtney wrote that those feet belonged to her “first born baby.”

Scott also seems to respect Mason's wishes about social media.

To his credit, Scott also seems to honor Mason’s wishes of not being in the spotlight. He did share a picture of Mason and Penelope on his Instagram the day after Halloween, but Mason is wearing a spooky mask, so his face is not visible.

It’s good to see Mason is carving out his own path, and that his parents are fully on board in supporting him in that.
