We're going to be honest: Netflix's lineup for March is looking a little light. That doesn't mean there aren't some potentially great new titles coming to the streamer this month; it's just that the majority of what is being added to the Netflix library isn't terribly exciting. That said, there are a handful of long-anticipated movies and TV series debuting that we're really thrilled about, including brand-new projects starring Ryan Reynolds, Jesse Plemons, and Jennifer Garner.
There are also a few new shows and new seasons of beloved shows landing this month (hello, Bridgerton!), so if you've been anxiously awaiting those, you'll have your chance to binge watch in no time. Netflix is also adding some new seasons of a few animated kids' series that your little ones are sure to be into.
As you wait out the last few weeks of winter, you might even want to watch some of the older movies that will be available on Netflix this month starring Hollywood A-listers including Reese Witherspoon and the late Chadwick Boseman. To avoid having to spend time digging around to find just the right show or movie to watch, check out our list of the best new content coming to Netflix in March 2022.
'21 Bridges'
Coming to Netflix: March 1
One of the last movies Chadwick Boseman filmed before his death in 2020, 21 Bridges is a cop drama set in New York. It's about a police officer known for being quick on the draw who ends up deeply entrenched in a manhunt involving two cop killers who are trying to flee the city.
'My Best Friend's Wedding'
Coming to Netflix: March 1
We can't think of a time when the Julia Roberts classic My Best Friend's Wedding was available to watch on Netflix (definitely not in recent years). So if you're up for a good, nostalgic rom-com sesh, be sure to check it out on the streamer before it disappears. It's a must-watch!
'Just Like Heaven'
Coming to Netflix: March 1
We barely remember the 2005 rom-com Just Like Heaven, starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo, but how could you go wrong with those two? It's about a grieving man who ends up falling in love with the ghost of the woman who once lived in his apartment. Sounds kind of fun!
'Siberia'
Coming to Netflix: March 1
If you're a Keanu Reeves fan, you'll get to watch him in one of his lesser-known films on Netflix this month. Siberia is a 2018 action flick about an American diamond trader who travels to Siberia to find his partner after he's gone missing, and he ends up in an unexpected love affair.
'Shrek' & 'Shrek 2'
Coming to Netflix: March 1
Both Shrek and Shrek 2 will be available on Netflix at the start of the month, so if your kids have yet to see these animated favorites — or even if they're already big fans — they'll be perfect for your next family movie night. The Shrek franchise goes way back, but it's definitely still entertaining for both little ones and adults.
'Where the Wild Things Are'
Coming to Netflix: March 1

'Zoolander'
Coming to Netflix: March 1

Coming to Netflix: March 2

Coming to Netflix: March 10
Created by rapper and actor Ludacris, Karma's World is a fantastic animated series about a tween girl who is passionate about music and loves to rap and perform. The second season will land on Netflix on March 10. We love that the series is inspirational and a wonderful example of Black representation for young children.

This highly anticipated original film features an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, as well as Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo in their first on-screen reunion since 13 Going on 30 (yay!). 'Bridgerton' Season 2
Coming to Netflix: March 25
Nearly a year and a half after its first season premiered to huge ratings, Bridgerton is finally returning with new episodes. The Shondaland hit is a frothy romantic drama set during England's Regency era, as told from the perspective of the wealthy Bridgerton family. This season, which centers on Anthony's quest for love, will see some of the show's original stars return, along with some new faces (but sadly, not Régé-Jean Page).
