New Photo of Josh Duggar in Prison Shows How Inmates Forced Him To Clean Up Appearance

It's been a minute since we've seen Josh Duggar (serving out a decade-long prison sentence will do that) but now, we're getting an update from someone on the inside. A new photo of Josh in prison has emerged, and if he looks different to you, that's probably because it seems he was forced to clean up his appearance by his fellow inmates.

A photo of Josh taken in September 2022 has surfaced.

The image was shared by Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball, who says it was taken by an inmate with a contraband cellphone (much like the one Josh recently got busted for having) and was sent to her by the loved one of someone else doing time at the same prison.

In the photo, we can see that Josh is sporting a shorter hairdo and seems to be clean-shaven, which is different from what he looked like when he was last seen in public.

He's not well-liked by his fellow inmates.

Katie Joy reported that her source says that Josh is seen as "arrogant" and rude" by the other inmates and even "frequently reminds people that he’s a celebrity."

This is interesting to hear, given that Josh's reality TV career ended with 19 Kids & Counting nearly a decade ago.

Other inmates reportedly pressured him into cleaning up his look.

"This photo is after Josh cut his hair and shaved his beard that made him 'look sloppy' which other inmates don’t like," Katie Joy wrote. "Being clean and having good hygiene, regular shaving is standard in the units. All inmates are expected to keep their areas clean, and Josh has ruffled feathers for being a slob."

Yikes …

Josh seems to still be in the Special Housing Unit.

As a punishment for being caught with a forbidden cellphone that he had rented from another inmate, Josh has been in solitary confinement as punishment for a long time. And according to Katie Joy, his time there is coming to an end soon.

In fact, on Monday she reported that her source told her that he will likely be released on Thursday, if not sooner, to join everyone else in the general population.

He has a long way to go.

Last week, we found out that Josh's release date had been pushed back by nearly two months as a punishment for his cellphone violation, so he's currently scheduled to be released in October 2032 rather than in August.

He better buckle up and keep that face clean-shaven if he wants to get along with everyone else!
