Although most people would be absolutely tickled to receive a personal invitation to King Charles' upcoming coronation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to feel otherwise. Instead of RSVP'ing yes, the pair are rumored to have responded with a laundry list of accommodations they want the palace to meet before they'll agree to go.

A source told The Sun all about the list from the Sussexes.
The duke and duchess have put together some requests and fired them back to the palace before they'll commit to anything.
It sounds like their asks aren't big ones either. First, they want to ensure that their children Archie and Lilibet (who weren't on the original invite) will get a chance to come along for the historic event.
Secondly, they want a front row seat on the balcony.
We recently learned that several top-ranking royals will get to celebrate after the coronation in a coveted spot on the balcony.
Although initial reports say that the disgraced Prince Andrew won't be among them, Harry and Meghan want to ensure that they have a spot among the more honored guests.
Lastly, they're also asking for a birthday nod for their little boy.
The new king made the odd choice to have his coronation on his youngest grandson's fourth birthday. It sounds like Harry and Meghan think that it's only right for him to share a little bit of the spotlight on his big day by offering up some sort of birthday wish for Archie.
This really would be a good move for Charles, not only because it will show that he still has affection for his youngest son and his family despite their current estrangement, but because also it would be massively exciting for Archie.
Harry and Meghan are reportedly unwilling to budge on these demands.
The Daily Express has heard it from a source close to the situation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "refusing to accept the invitation to the historic event until their requests are agreed to."
As for whether they'll get their way, it sounds like the palace is doing everything in its power to be flexible for the pair.

Decisions need to be made ASAP in order for things to run smoothly.
This isn't like a backyard BBQ. There are a lot of moving parts for the coronation, which means that things need to be scheduled down to the minute. Sources say this is causing a bit of inner turmoil among those planning the event.
"The Palace are trying to wrap up negotiations as quickly as possible because they can't go right up to the wire," an insider shared with OK Magazine. "It could lead to chaos. It could very well be that it ends in stalemate, and they won't attend. But the Palace is doing everything in its power to not let that happen."
It sounds like a stressful time to work in the palace. We don't envy whoever has been tasked with this job!
