Sam Asghari Stands Up for Ex Britney Spears on IG After ‘Bully’ Donald Trump Jr. Mocks Her

Over the summer, fans were shocked when Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears just one year after their wedding. Sam even moved out of the home he shared with Spears before he filed for divorce. There has been a lot of speculation around what may have happened between the soon-to-be ex couple, including Sam accusing Britney of cheating and "explosive" physical fights that left both of them in need of medical attention. Despite this, Sam is still defending Britney against one very famous social media troll.

"It's not okay to be a bully @donaldjtrumpjr," Sam wrote in a post that has since expired in the app.

Sam didn’t provide any additional context or content to the story, but those who have been following along knew exactly what he meant.

Donald Trump Jr. posted a meme featuring pictures of Britney.

It’s likely that Sam was posting about a meme Donald Jr. shared to his own Instagram feed mocking the incident involving Britney that most recently made headlines. In the meme, there are side by side photos of Spears: one from the early '00s and a screenshot from her now-famous knife dancing video.

The meme poked fun at Britney's recent bizarre video.

In the meme, the older photo of Spears reads "America under Trump," while the more recent photo reads "America under Biden." As for the caption of the post, Don Jr. simply wrote, "yup."

It’s worth noting that the photo is clearly of Britney in her 20s, which makes it during the Bush administration, not the Trump administration, which didn't begin until 2016.

Britney has been having a rough week.

The pop star sparked concern when she posted a video of herself dancing with knives last week. There was so much concern that the police showed up to perform a welfare check, which didn't exactly impress Britney much.

"Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right???" she later wrote.

She took down the police in an epic rant.

"The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me," she shared.

"I am getting an apology. I've been bullied in my home for so long now … IT'S ENOUGH! Don't talk about it, come on, let's DO !!! As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I'm in the wrong … nope it's an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions! It's about power for cops."
