Prince William is next in line for England’s throne, but that isn’t stopping him from getting his groove on when the mood hits him. On Friday, Will celebrated his birthday by attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London with kids Princess Charlotte and Prince George, and now, we have video proof of just how much fun he had. Footage of him dancing to “Shake It Off” has made it to the internet, and it has exceeded all of our wildest expectations.
Will and his two eldest kids had a fun night out at Wembley Stadium.
Following the June 21 stop on the Eras Tour, the William shared a photo of him, George, and Charlotte with Taylor on his official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account.
“Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening!” read his caption.
Kate Middleton and Prince Louis must have been bummed to miss out!
Now, footage of the prince getting his groove on during the concert has emerged.
A fan who was lucky enough to be at the concert was sitting below William’s suite and was able to capture video of him dancing his royal butt off as Taylor performed “Shake It Off” during the 1989 era of the show.
He’s really moving. Something tells me this is not the first time he’s danced like this to this song!
People are having a field day in the comments.
Since this is a side of William that the world doesn’t normally get to see, people are loving it.
“He dances exactly how I expected him to dance,” one person commented, adding a laughing emoji.
Another wrote: “Prince William is the Swiftie we all needed. He is positively unhinged in the best of ways right here!”
It looks like Will and the kids had a total blast.
Going to the concert is cool enough, but getting to meet Taylor? Not just anyone can say that!
And it seems like Taylor was just as pumped to meet the royals, because she posted a selfie with all three of them (and boyfriend Travis Kelce) on her own Instagram account, too, writing, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”

We do have to wonder if missing out on the Taylor Swift concert will be Louis’ villain origin story, but it doesn’t look like Taylor’s going anywhere — there will be plenty more chances for his own selfie moment in the future!
