Many of us have so many handbags, we don't know what to do with them. They are stored in bigger bags, under beds, in some box somewhere in the attic. It's time to get organized in a way where we can actually see what handbags we have so we can use them. We found some creative ways to organize your purses so that they're always visible and easy to grab on the go.
We're thinking outside the box (clever! See what we did there?), and we looked beyond what certain pieces of furniture or items say they can do. We have some good basics along with some bigger ideas, and no matter what your storage capacity is, we have an idea that will work for you … and all your pretty pretty handbags.

Reclaimed Driftwood With Vintage Knobs Purse Rack
We are always drawn to ingenuity, and this Reclaimed Driftwood With Vintage Knobs Purse Rack ($29, MacAndLexie/etsy.com) is a neat way to put cool doorknobs to a new use. Depending on the size of your closet, you can even hang them high above the closet bar for easy viewing and selection.
Accessory Organizer
I'm not sure what it is about a closet hanging storage rack, but we love them, especially this Umbra Pocketta Accessory Organizer ($20, jcpenney.com). It makes it easy to see exactly what purse matches best for the day, and keeps them all tidy in one spot.
Painted Peg Rack
We have seen these used for hanging coffee mugs, but they would also do great as a purse hanger mounted to a wall or back of closet door. This Painted Peg Rack ($14.95, ShabbyRoad/etsy.com) has 10 pegs, which would fit at least 10 purses (more if you double up). Or save some pegs for scarves and make it your go-to spot for switching up accessories.
Park-a-Purse Modular Organizer
Bins, bins, and more bins. It's kind of the key to organizing. And in that spirit, here is the Luxury Living Park-a-Purse Modular Organizer ($59.99, target.com) that perfectly fits on your closet shelf and allows you to custom fit a purse or two thanks to its adjustable panels.

Long Hook Copper Hanging Rack
Where has this been all our purse-having lives? We love the Long Hook Copper Hanging Rack ($79, CopperGardenStudio/etsy.com) because it just hangs on the closet bar and has so many hooks for all the handbags without taking away too much space from the clothes that need to be in there, too.
Hanging Handbag Organizer
Just like the tried-and-true shoe rack, there is one for purses only, and it's designed in a space-saving way. The Nature of Storage Canvas Natural Hanging Handbag Organizer ($28.95, wayfair.com) holds at least 10 purses that you have in heavy rotation. That should suffice … or get two.
Mid-Century Storage Rack
We are huge fans of repurposing furniture, and this Mid-Century Storage Rack ($89, ChalksOLot/etsy.com) is great to hold records or books or even shoes, but we also see it as a bag lover's dream — the perfect filing system to keep all purses together. Store in closet under where blouses go to make best use of space.
Spiral Purse Tree
If your handbag collection is worth showcasing, why not use them to decorate this Spiral Purse Tree ($43, displays2go.com)? Pretty perfect and always in reach.
Not Just a Lid Rack
Here's an awesome idea from The Not-So-Secret Life of Jennifer Nicole, which can be adapted for purses. She used a simple lid rack as a Makeup Palette Organizer, but this would also work perfectly if you're the Queen of Clutches.
