Proposition: you should be required to have a license to use Photoshop. I don't mean a software license—I mean the way you need a license to drive. Because how some of these professional advertisements could possibly look this bad — by people who are paid to modify them — is beyond comprehension. We're not talking just getting rid of a simple blemish or fixing the lighting. Some of these Photoshop fails remove whole limbs and alter people's bodies to unbelievably ridiculous proportions. Ugh, yes, photoshopping is a very serious epidemic that has plagued the realm of social media for some time, and as of right now, we're not seeing any hope for a sure.
Of course, the real funny ones are when brave amateurs at home or aspiring Instagram models get a little to aggressive with the modifications. The line between Instagram reality and actual reality is getting more and more separated all thanks to Photoshop and other editing apps that allow people to completely alter their appearance beyond recognition. And again, gone are the days when the only editing done was getting rid of an annoying zit that popped up. Oh no. Things are getting drastic. Some Instagram users definitely don't use these tools modestly.Â
However, at least these are good for some laughs. Whether it's a professional doing it or an Instagram model amateur, there's always some funny Photoshop fail that was over-looked (and often times, it's hard to believe how anyone could ever not notice the mistake). But hey, we're all human right? Some of the people in these photos may not look human, but make no mistake … they are. Don't believe us? We've got the hilarious proof right here!
