Listen, there are no two bodies on this green earth that are exactly alike — though mainstream media would have us believing otherwise. The thing is, what we perceive as flaws are only seen as such because of societal pressure — so why not be radical and not only embrace "flaws" but highlight them?
That's basically what this unidentified customer at Nail Sunny, the salon behind most of the wacky nail trends, did with this unique pedicure.
While there aren't a ton of details on the customer or any explanation for her situation, the Russian viral nail salon uploaded its tutorial to Instagram on Monday, January 28 with a caption (roughly translated) that simply said:Â
"6 fingers pedicure tutorial â¤ď¸ or ? Six Fingered Pedicure! We make beautiful even what people consider ugliness."
It's a bit of an oddity, considering when searching for "two toenails, one toe" nothing similar surfaces.
As the "before" shot shows, the person is not dealing with webbed feet, but what appears to be an extra nail on a toe that's wider than the others.
Whatever the case, the tutorial is fascinating to watch.
The nail artist cuts the cuticles and the nails are buffed to perfection, which the salon does for any other pedicure — adding acrylic to strengthen and define the nail. To highlight the, erm, uniqueness of the nail, the artist came up with a clever design to make it really stand out.
And, TBH, the end product is pretty impressive:
We're not saying we hope to grow an additional nail bed, but, if we do it is nice to know there are options.
