When it comes to Cardi B, very little is off-limits. The unfiltered rap star is an open book, sharing everything from the struggles of motherhood, her sex life with husband Offset, and her experiences with plastic surgery. However, she's done talking about one of those topics, and fans agree.
Ahead, check out why her well-endowed derriere is something she wishes everyone would shut up about.
Cardi B has had it with people talking about her butt.
And she means it. In a 73 Questions video with Vogue, that began with the über-adorable Kulture in her arms wearing a miniature bonnet (swoon), the rapper, wife, and mother got super candid.
And while everything was fair game for the fast-paced interview, Cardi was quick to express what she wished people would talk less about. “I hate when people ask me questions about my butt! People are so obsessed with knowing about the enhanced butt process, that it’s like, Lord … ”
Part of that frustration probably stems from her candidness in the past.
Because hey, if she's already answered all of the possible questions, why dwell on it? Cardi told VladTV in 2017 that she got illegal butt injections in her teens knowing the risks that came with going to an unlicensed Queens woman who notoriously killed a client. Cardi thought that it "wouldn't happen to her."
As Cardi explained, "When half of the strippers and the bartenders in New York City have illegal ass shots that is done practically by the same person, it's just like, Yeah, I heard that some women died of it. But it's like, what are the odds? What are the odds it's going to be me?"
She later went on to elaborate on the experience to GQ: "They don’t numb your ass with anything,” Cardi recalled. “It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days," she said.
Then, a more recent plastic surgery mishap resulted in canceled shows and upset fans.
After a complete mommy makeover, followed by a busy schedule, not only was Cardi getting constant headaches, but she was also swelling tremendously from excessive travel, a result of what many say was spiked blood pressure.
"Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane; imagine my body. Reasons why doctors told me to chill on shows," she captioned a photo of her massive feet.
She expressed her anger over social media, basically swearing off getting anymore work done.
She said the many cancellations resulted in her losing tons of money, something we all know Cardi takes seriously. Come on, we've all heard Money.
“I hate canceling shows because I love money. I’m a money addict,” Cardi shared on Instagram Stories. “I get paid a lot of money — a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I’m canceling millions of dollars in shows. But health is wealth, so I have to do what I have to do.”
So she has a point, what other questions could anyone really have?
Let's be real, she's been wildly transparent, much more transparent than other celebrities who have undergone the procedure. So let's all let the convo rest. Let's chat about how perfect Kulture is, Cardi's upcoming music, and the rapper's impact on culture. OKURRRT.
