About a week ago, ColourPop Cosmetics unleashed Fem Rosa, its newest collaborative collection with Karrueche Tran, on the world.
And it KILLED. Save for a few individual lip products and a face palette, everything sold out at a rapid pace.
Luckily for fans, the brand is restocking all of it today at 10 am PST.
Exclusively on ColourPop, as always.
But before everyone rushes to ColourPop's site, I need to talk about something real fast: the bundles.
You COULD buy the regular bundle with the entire collection for $40.
OR, for $6 more, you can get the "PR Collection" — which is the same thing in a limited-edition press box.
YEAH, a press box. You know, those super fancy packages brands send YouTubers, influencers, and beauty professionals for free.
The goal with these boxes is… well, to get publicity.
ColourPop is basically giving regular people the chance to get their collections with a bunch of additional notes and packaging, just like their favorite influencers would.
So those people get to have their ~aesthetic~ social media posts and a sleek as hell, reusable box.
And ColourPop gets more free promotion — plus $6 more per bundle.
It has essentially taken the experience of being an influencer and monetized it.
As far as I know, it's the first and only brand to openly call a collection bundle a "PR" kit.
That's... fucking GENIUS.
