Grandma Creates Taylor Swift ‘ScEras Tour’ Halloween Decorations & We’re Totally Obsessed

It’s October, and spooky season is in full effect! You can’t go anywhere without seeing ghosts or pumpkins or any other type of Halloween decor. Of course, with the return of Halloween season comes the return of giant skeletons. In recent years, skeletons have really taken center stage when it comes to Halloween decorating.

A woman in New Orleans is now combining the popularity of Halloween skeletons with an incredibly popular Halloween costume idea: Taylor Swift. This year, she is dressing up her 13 giant skeletons to replicate Swift’s Eras Tour, and the results are nothing short of awesome.

Taylor Swift is just her latest Halloween decoration inspiration.

Louellen Berger has been decorating her mansion, which sits on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and State Street in New Orleans’ Uptown, for 20 years. Her skeleton decor has become the stuff of legends, which is why it’s fitting that she takes on the legend that is Taylor Swift.

“Thirteen different Taylors, and a football player that you might recognize,” Berger told ABC affiliate WGNO.

The entire production was a family affair.

To achieve top of the pops status, the grandmother enlisted the help of her 11 grandchildren.

“We put all of our minds together and came up with all the ideas. My younger grandkids even did all the friendship bracelets, so it was a family affair,” Berger shared. What a fun way to have some quality family time!

Berger had a Taylor-sized vault to pull this off.

Berger spared no expense when it came to details either, going the extra mile to make sure that her Swiftie skeletons sparkle.

“My earlier career was in fashion, so I really like doing this. A lot of the outfits are former outfits of our children or grandchildren, and several of them are even gymnastics outfits,” she explained.

She wanted to create a 'Taylor made' experience.'

“I hope you notice the eyelashes and piercing blue eyes. The hair styles are different on each one. I wanted her fingernails to match the color scheme of her dresses,” Berger revealed.

Each of the Taylor Swift skeletons took a “full day” for Berger to execute. “I really wanted to honor her. She’s an icon,” she said.

She would be honored if Taylor stopped by her yard show.

Taylor Swift is scheduled to make a tour stop in New Orleans this month. Berger admitted that she wouldn’t mind if the singer stopped by to see her hard work.

“I doubt she will come by, but I think I’d faint and be speechless if she did,” she shared. “I’m sure she won’t come by, but if her fans do, I’ll be fine with that.”
