Do you believe in love at first sight, or do you have to know someone longer to be sure they are really the one? Everyone's love story is different and beautiful, and only they know when their love is real. Emmarie Jensen, 27, was wondering if she'd ever find her true love when she met a man who changed everything.
He ended up becoming her first boyfriend, and within months they were married.
McCray Jensen was the man of Emmarie's dreams, and she documented their whirlwind romance on her TikTok page @emmarie_lane. Even though it all happened very quickly, Emmarie and McCray believe it's the real thing, and they want to encourage others to find their one true love.

Emmarie wasn't always interested in love.
As a beauty creator, she shared hair and makeup tips with thousands of followers, but a relationship just didn't seem to be in the cards. In the summer of 2023, Emmarie got serious about finding a man and began by joining dating apps. She told People that she's always been shy and "kept to herself" and that at first, the dating apps weren't successful.
"They were fine. There just wasn't really that much of a connection," she said, adding that she found "a lot of red flags."
But a Hinge date in December changed her life.
Emmarie met McCray and knew right away there was something special about him. He was a true gentleman who wanted to impress her.
"He's just the most thoughtful guy," she explained to People. "I never met a guy that put that much thought into a first date ever. Someone that he hadn't met before. He is just the most sweet, thoughtful gentleman that I know."
It only took a few weeks before the couple knew they wanted to be serious.
Emmarie recalled to People that she and McCray realized they wanted to be married just weeks after they began dating, but they held off on an engagement until the spring.
He surprised her with a proposal in March, and his two children gave her rings as well with their names on them. The couple married in April in a simple celebration with family and doughnuts.
She shared her journey on TikTok.
Emmarie was not shy about sharing her relationship with her followers. She detailed her engagement and marriage, which were met with mixed reactions. Some were concerned that Emmarie moved too fast.

"Aww you look so beautiful! and those photos are so cute. I love them ❤️," another person commented.
Emmarie told People she is happy with life right now as a wife and stepmom and hopes to add more kids to the family.
"We want to get settled in as a family first, but more kids are definitely in the future. We both love kids so much. We want lots of kids," she said.
