Mirror, mirror, on the wall — who's the most popular Kardashian of them all?
It's a hotly contested subject. So I decided to put my totally not made up at all Ph.D in theoretical Kardashian math to use, and find out once and for all which one is best.
My raw data? Instagram, kornerstone in the Jenndashian empire. I broke down many photos each Kardashian shared in 2016, and compared that to how many likes they got during the course of the year.
Here are my results — all the Kardashian-Jenners, ranked by their 2016 Instagram popularity.
Kanye West

Post-to-like ratio: 42,388
Notes: Kanye's Instagram account was DROP EVERYTHING NEWS when he first created it — but since it's mostly blurry photos of his fashion line, it hasn't been quite as popular as it could be. I'm not going to drag him for that, though; he's had a rough time lately, and I genuinely hope that he keeps getting better.
Tyga

Notes: I'd just like to point out that Tyga's teenage girlfriend is carrying his entire social media presence. Without Kylizzle, and without his child (that he had with Blac Chyna, before leaving her for said teenage girlfriend), he has very little.

Excellent rookie Instagram year, Chy.

Notes: Rob doesn't post a lot on Instagram, which has hurt his overall ranking. But as Dream grows (and gets cuter), and as his 2017 wedding gets closer, I imagine the hype surrounding his selfies will increase exponentially.

Notes: If there's one thing I've learned from various Jenndashian Snapchats, it's that Cait is still figuring out social media. The majority of her popular 2016 posts have to do with her family — celebrating their victories, showing off their re-established closeness. But there's not a lot of CAITLYN in Caitlyn's feed yet; something that will likely change as she becomes more comfortable with the medium in 2017.

Notes: Poor Kris. She's one of the most active Instagram users in the family, and yet her posts don't get a lot of respect. Her most popular photos of 2016 are, like the majority of her life, dedicated to promoting her kids and her grandkids. I've always thought that Kris has the best fashion sense out of all the Jenndashians — here's to hoping she goes full fashion blogger and embraces that in 2017.

This could be the difference between how we see mothers and fathers on social media, or it could be that he's not as good at child photography. WHO KNOWS. Now that he and Kourt are back together, we'll definitely find out.

Maybe some well-timed cross-promotion will boost her popularity in 2017?

Her biggest Insta-hit of the year was the photo she shared to announced the Koko Kollection, a makeup collab with little sister Kylie. The family that promotes together, boosts their social numbers together!
Kim Kardashian

Notes: It's happened — Kim has been de-throned. Her Instagram posts about North and Saint were by far the best performing of 2016. Transparent clothing, Kanye, and selfies with sisters rounded out her year.

Notes: Was there ever any doubt? Kylie is the new Kim. She's had BY FAR the biggest year on Instagram, with the most posts AND the most likes. Kylizzle got over one BILLION likes on her posts this year; that's three times the population of the United States. Get on with your bad self, K. YOU'RE THE FUTURE OF THIS FAMILY NOW.
