Everyone! Are you ready for the ultimate goth love story? Fans think that Kat Von D just proposed to her super hot musician boyfriend, but only we have the proof.
It all started with this Valentine's day video, which Kat shared to her IG account mere hours ago.
While it does show a mushy-gushy plane carrying a banner that says "I LOVE YOU KAT VON D," it also shows Kat's boyfriend, Prayers vocalist Leafar Seyer, modeling a brand new ring on a VERY significant finger.
COMPUTER, ENHANCE!
Could it be… an engagement ring?
Does this mean Kat proposed to her man on Valentine's Day?
Kat's fans are CONVINCED that the two are engaged, and that *she* proposed to *him* with this ring — her Instagram comments are currently filled with congratulations.
A brief smattering of comments:
"Is he flashing a ring? CONGRATULATIONS!"
"This is gonna be one hell of a weddinggggg."
"I hope you have finally fount the one who is your forever and ever."
"Congratulations and how romantic!"
But some fans think everyone is just jumping to crazy-ass conclusions. Over on Seyer's IG, there's another video of the same romance-plane from a different angle... with no mention (or photo) of a ring or a proposal.
But he DEFINITELY wasn't wearing that ring last week...
And he's not one to skip mentioning a fine new piece of jewelry.
And truly, these too are really over-the-top in love — so it's not like EITHER of them would keep an engagement a secret.
Seyer recently did an interview with fan site Kat Von D Unlimited, in which he got very very real about their relationship. In the interview, he says he's written her poems (some in blood), says he loves her booty, and says that Kat healed and mended his once "broken and tortured heart."
So really, if she'd proposed, I feel like he'd square up and tell the world.
But as the fan argument raged on, I found it — definitive proof that Kat and Leafar ARE engaged.
That makes it sound like I found some secret intel, but really, I just read some stuff. Turns out that he refers to Kat as his "heart's safekeep and fiance" in his latest social media posts.
So. There it is. Whether she proposed to him with a ring, or he proposed to her with a lip print tattoo, we may never know… unless we're told.
