Do you remember the moment you met *the one* — how you felt, what they said, where you were?
Taylor Blake, a 23-year-old from Florida, wanted to remember it forever, so when she met 19-year-old Josie Paine, she started keeping a journal of memories as they got to know each other.
This went on for two months until Blake decided to present her memory journal of their budding relationship to Paine — and use it to ask her to be her girlfriend.
The first time Blake and Payne met in person, Blake was totally smitten.
"I had a date today, with a girl I once jokingly referred to as my soulmate," Blake wrote. "(At least I think it was a date?) We got rained on, but she still looked so beautiful."
The two originally met online. "The first time we ever met in person, I remember being so intimidated by her beauty," Blake told BuzzFeed.
Blake kept notes in her marble notebook every time she and Paine hung out together.
Some entries were poetic and intimate and sweet.
"I have never been one to compare human beings to art, yet I find myself getting lost in sculpture that is her body," this entry says.
In her last entry, Blake asked Paine to "be mine," and handed off the journal to her.
"The first 19 pages were our memories from my perspective," Blake wrote. "I'd like the remaining to be future memories, from our perspective."
Paine was visibly touched (and of course, said yes). The only problem now is that Paine is off in California for a while...
...but she took the journal with her, and uses it to tell her girlfriend every day how much she misses her.
Total #relationshipgoals <3
