‘Will I Have To Smell Them?’ My Dad Went To Buy Me Maxi Pads & Sent Me the Craziest Texts

Have you ever run out of period supplies or become frighteningly low and needed someone to grab some for you? Sure, we all have. Even though sometimes it's simpler to just order online and pick up curbside, some people like to do things the old-fashioned way and head into the store for a grab-and-go. It seems simple unless you are a man who has never used any of these products.

We all love a dad who wants to help his daughter, right? One young woman shared some texts on social media from her dad while he was on a mission to buy her some maxi pads. Let's just say this dad is hilarious and gets an A for effort.

Her dad just wanted to help.

Tia Savva shared the text exchange between herself and her dad on Facebook. She sent him to Tesco, a drugstore in the UK, to buy her some pads. He checks in, tells her he has arrived at the store, and asks for directions.

Savva tells him where to go, and he asks her what kind of pads she wants. She tells him to grab Always, and he asks, "Always What??"

This was the first laugh, but it gets better.

He was shocked by the price.

As we know, feminine hygiene is expensive, and Savva's dad couldn't believe it. He asked if the package had hundreds inside to make up for the high price, and she told him to "Calm down."

He starts to get nervous that people are looking at him and tells her to hurry up and tell him what she needs. Savva asks for overnight scented pads with wings.

"Wtf are wings? How will I know if they're scented? Will I have to smell them?" he asks in his next text.

Savva's had just about enough of him.

She tells him to "Chill out" and that it will say on the package whether they are scented. Her dad seems relieved, admitting it would have been weird to start smelling packages in the aisle. He then asks her if she needs any creams.

"What in the f—? Why would I need creams," she asks.

And he hilariously replies, "Because I thought you ladies needed creams for after."

We don't even want to know why he thought that.

She tells him to get moving and hurry home.

"OK. Satan needs feeding. I'll bring you choc," he replies.

Who wouldn't love this dad?

Well, just about everyone. Not only is he funny, but is also is doting as heck. Pads and chocolate? This dad knows the deal. Savva's screenshots have thousands of comments.

"What a brilliant dad," one comment reads.

"Bless him, this reminded me of a guy i saw last week coming out of tescos, packet of always, box of tampons, big box of chocolates, bottle of wine, some heat pads and a bunch of flowers," someone else commented.

At least one other person shared having a different experience with a man buying pads.

"My ex wouldn't even push the shopping trolley if i had pads in there, some guys are so nice," one person wrote.

And lots of people laughed.

"This made my day !!x," another comment reads.

"I'll get them in future coz he will have [you] in nappies next love," someone else wrote.

He reminds us of another amazing dad.

Last November, TikToker @K.oThaBarber got a call from his daughter's mother telling him their daughter got her period at school and needed "Always pads with some wings."

This dad did just as he was instructed. He got the pads with a side of hot wings. When we tell you tears were rolling down our faces … Lord have mercy.

We are so grateful for amazing dads who'll do anything for their baby girls. What would we do without them?
