18 products YouTubers HATED in February

February may be the shortest month of the year, but we saw A LOT of new makeup drop — and as usual, your favorite YouTubers shared plenty of opinions about the products they hated the most.

Here are 18 products YouTubers totally hated this month.

Jeffree Star HATED Wet N Wild's metallic lipsticks ($4.99, Wet N Wild)  from the Goth-O-Graphic collection because of the "chunky" and "streaky" formula.

"I am sadly disappointed in these metallic liquid lips," he said about all four shades

"Usually, Wet N Wild can kill it with their matte liquid lipstick formula but these ones are just really not hitting."

Manny MUA felt "sorely let down" by the Jeremy Scott and MAC Cosmetics collaboration Lo-Fi palette ($75, Ulta).

"When I opened it, I was like 'oh'," he shared during a review. "The colors are just so off. I'm like 'What the fuck is going on?'"

"The amount per shadow was like a joke."

And the actual shadows' formula? "They were super powdery, super chunky."

Manny MUA actually recommends you try the Zodiac palette ($22, Ulta) before the Jeremy Scott x MAC Cosmetics palette. "The Zodiac palette is nicer than this one."

Makeup Shayla had a MOUTHFUL to share about the new Makeup Revolution ($7, Ulta) AND Beauty Bakerie ($24, Beauty Bakerie) concealers.

Shayla tried both concealers to compare their formulas but couldn't even complete the makeup look she was going for.

About the Makeup Revolution concealer: “I can’t wait to take this off. It smells like nail polish remover," she said in disgust. "There’s some sort of chemical in here that’s scaring the crap out of me.”

She also noted they didn't have enough shades for yellow undertones.

About the Beauty Bakerie concealer: “Whatever ingredient they have in the Beauty Bakerie [concealer] that makes it dry this fast, they need to get rid of it. I can’t even blend out the contour and I feel like the color needs a little more warmth to it.”

Tati Westbrook didn't love the cream blushes in the new Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush palette ($89, Sephora).

"It's not knocking my socks off," she said about the overall palette. Westbrook did adore the highlighters in the palette, though — and wished they came as singles instead.

HeFlawless gave MAC's new Hyper Real Glow highlight palette ($39.50, Ulta) the super side eye for its powdery formula and plentiful fallout.

“I got better highlighters,” he shared as he blended. “There’s a little fallout. They’re a little powdery. Yeah, no.”

Andrea Matillano loved the packaging of the Too Faced White Peach palette ($45, Sephora) but hated the powdery formula of the shadows.

"On the website, they describe this palette as a 'buildable, saturated palette' and I feel like those are the two adjectives that I would definitely not use to describe this palette," she said.

"The matte shadows are very, very powdery," Matillano continued. "The problem with these shadows is they blend away on my skin tone. They literally blend away into nothing."

(Fun Fact: Manny MUA hated this palette too and considered it a "February flop.")

Jackie Aina hated the Mermaid Tears lip topper by Too Faced.

"I won't be looking to make any mermaids cry in the near future any time soon," she shared during her review of the full Life's A Festival collection.

Jackie Aina also highly disliked the Wild color option from the Maybelline Lip Studio Python Metallic lip kit ($7.99, Target).

"I don't like it. It's a no from me dawg," she during her review of the Maybelline lip kits.

Samantha March regretted buying the Clay Play 2 palette ($46, Sephora) and returned it immediately.

"I was so upset with that palette," she shared in her review

"It seemed like they just used the original Clay Play palette ($20, Tarte) and put a few different shades in there. The shade names in the Clay Play 2 were the exact same in the Clay Play 1."

She also hated the highlight. "The highlight was like straight glitter and it looked horrible on me," she said.

Jordan Byers hated the spinning mascara wand ($9.99, Light In The Box) because she couldn't even get it to work. The mascara was faulty when it arrived.

Byers also read a bunch of reviews by customers who experienced faulty mascaras also.

After opening, she also made another discovery: "There is not a lot of mascara in here at all," she said during her review. "I am low-key irritated."

“50 Shades of Gray on acid" was the best description Patricia Bright could give the IT Cosmetics color correcting creams ($38, IT Cosmetics).

“I look like a zombie," she said during her full face try-on. "I've worn foundations that are light but they don't go gray like this."

Too Much Mouth dragged L.A. Girl for how the darkest shade of its new pro matte foundation looked on her skin tone.

Too Much Mouth tried Café, the darkest foundation shade ($8.99, Ulta) L.A. Girl provides and quickly found that the shade range is "even worse than Tarte's."

Liv Loves Makeup considered the Urban Decay All-Nighter concealer ($29, Ulta) a total fail.

"It dries way too quickly," Liv shared. "It really emphasizes fine lines, texture, wrinkles, and crepiness so it really is not the concealer for me."

Vianney Strick was not impressed by the Too Faced Unicorn palette AT ALL.

"To me, I don't think you can make very many looks with this," she said during an Anti Haul. "All [this] little unicorn stuff, I'm just over it. I want something new. It's been so overdone."

Cydnee Black cannot stand the metallic matte lipstick trend. She specifically hated the Kevyn Aucoin Blue Amethyst Molten lip color ($30, Sephora).

"I look like I have fucking hypothermia," she said during her metallic matte lipstick try-on. "Where am I going wearing this lip color? I don't understand."

Lisa Stevens considers the new Becca Ocean Jewels palette ($35, Sephora) a waste of money.

"I'm looking at these colors and they're just very basic colors that we all probably already have," she said during her review.

Lucy Flight had one word to describe the Smashbox lipstick in the shade Obvi ($21, Smashbox): Disgusting!

"I can't see anybody wearing this lipstick shade. It's actually disgusting," she said after spreading it over her lips in tutorial.

Casey Holmes hated what hapepened with the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 24-Hour Foundation ($5.49, Target) as she blended in her blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

"The foundation is just rubbing off," she said in frustration during her first impressions review.
