Baby Allegedly Endured ‘More Than 1 Fracture a Month’ Before His First Birthday at Hands of Monster Mom

Hunter Deeann Miller took her baby boy to a Florida emergency room in November 2025. After the staff examined the child, they determined he had a broken arm. But something about the baby’s injury concerned the care team, which contacted the police. Miller allegedly told investigators someone dropped her son. When police looked at surveillance footage from the home where the alleged incident took place, they found no evidence of the child falling to the floor.

That single emergency room visit was the beginning of a months-long child abuse investigation spanning multiple Florida counties. What investigators found is truly shocking.

Three separate counties investigated Miller.

According to a social media post from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, they were the third in line to investigate Miller. When Miller took her son, who was less than a year old, to the emergency room, the staff first contacted the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. It contacted the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, which ultimately transferred the case to Putnam County. During the course of the investigation, Miller allegedly lied about what happened to her son. She repeatedly pointed fingers at innocent people.

The baby’s father reportedly gave detectives some disturbing information.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported that Miller’s ex-boyfriend, the baby’s father, told investigators he discovered a series of reports related to their son.

“Medical records and a forensic analysis showed the baby had sustained 10 potential fractures — more than 1 fracture a month in the child’s short life,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Miller reportedly gave police the name of a second suspect, who police quickly cleared of any wrongdoing. They found that some of the baby’s injuries happened before that person even met Miller.

Miller received no sympathy from her son’s family.

Destanee Harris, Miller’s baby’s aunt, shared scathing messages about Miller on social media.

“Justice for my nephew is finally beginning and we won’t stop! You deserve every awful thing! To know you let this baby suffer for months tried to blame an innocent 16 year old child then another innocent man (her ex boyfriend) but hey that’s what you do right? How many men have you lied about beating and raping you? SHE WORKS AT SAN MATEO TRADING POST AND IF YOU SUPPORT THEM YOU SUPPORT CHILD ABUSING MFS,” she wrote on Facebook.

“This makes me sick. I hope your sweet nephew and his siblings get the justice they deserve,” a friend commented.

People simply could not wrap their heads around a baby having so many injuries.

Another person added: “There is no defense for breaking 10 bones in a little baby. How the hell do you not know about that immediately? This girl is going to bust HELL WIDE OPEN!! Who knows , maybe she will get a little jailhouse justice while she is a guest of the state.”

Though Miller faces a felony child abuse charge, someone posted a $50,000 bond to get her out of jail. She’s ordered to have no contact with children. The baby is now living with relatives. If Miller did what law enforcement says she did, she should never be around a child ever again.
